Just published, and sold by the printer hereof, THE
LAWFULNESS, EXCELLENCY, AND ADVANTAGE OF INSTRUMENTAL MUSICK
in the public worship of God, urg'd and enforc'd from
scripture, and the example of the far greater part of
Christians in all ages.--Address'd to all (particularly the
Presbyterians and Baptists) who have hitherto been taught to
look upon instrumental musick in the worship of God as
unlawful.  By a Presbyterian.
  Musick has charms to sooth the savage breast,
  To soften rocks and bend the knotted oak.
